Welcome to the website of Melissa Chesterman, proprietor of Oxleaze Stables in Gloucestershire.

Specialising in sympathetically breaking and pre-training thoroughbreds for the racetrack, Melissa also brings on young horses for other disciplines and re-schools older and problem horses. Young racehorses are broken and brought on by Melissa. She gets them 95% ready for the racetrack, making the trainer's job easier and offering value for money for the owner.

Oxleaze Stables has been designed and built by Melissa and boasts spacious loose boxes, barns and plenty of turn-out as well as an all weather flood-lit school, a round pen and a horse walker.

Located in the beautiful Cotswolds and set in organic farmland full of wildlife, Oxleaze Stables is surrounded by beautiful scenery,  miles of quiet country lanes and a network of bridleways. It is easy to reach and convenient from Birmingham, London and Oxford and the M5 and M40 motorways.
